Dimples Romana x Get Spotted: Her Holiday Collection

Actress, host and entrepreneur Dimples Romana has added one more title to her name: fashion designer. Her first collection is a holiday line made with us at Get Spotted, and we launched it together in November 2023.
How the Dimples Romana x Get Spotted collaboration began
The partnership started online. Our founder Emgee (MG), a fellow mom based in Bacolod, reached out to Dimples, and the two hit it off over motherhood and a shared wish to give real value to the women they dress. "I'm just making sure that everything I put out will be very intentional," Dimples told Manila Standard. She wanted to work with people whose values and advocacies match her own.
Designed for movement, and for every body
Dimples designs with movement in mind. "I love movement," she said. "For me, you see a woman's beauty by how her clothes move along with the way she moves." Even as Daniela Mondragon in Kadenang Ginto, she wanted clothes that flowed.
She also wanted the collection to be buffet-friendly: pieces for the woman who wants to dress up for the holidays and still enjoy the food. Most designs are loose around the belly and show a little skin, but not too much. The sequined pieces pair easily with a blazer.

"I feel pretty no matter what my size is, to be honest," Dimples said. "I have become very forgiving of my body."
The launch
We celebrated the collection on November 30, 2023, with Dimples, friends of the brand and the Get Spotted team, among the racks of her new designs.
For Dimples, designing a collection with another woman is a win for both sides. And on the wait before it all came together: "I believe in God's timing. Not everything has to happen right away."
