I can't believe I got to visit our shop and meet our French business partner for the first time. It still feels so unreal!

Filipino craft on the global stage

We're proud to showcase the incredible work of our Filipino artisans and the beautiful handwoven fabrics from the CHICKS area, proving that Filipino talent can thrive on the global stage.

CHICKS stands for six towns and cities of southern Negros Occidental: Candoni, Hinobaan, Ilog, Cauayan, Kabankalan and Sipalay. The CHICKS x Get Spotted collection, from our EMGEE line, turns hablon, Negros' handwoven fabric, into modern pieces you can wear every day: bomber jackets, vests, tops and skirts.

Our pop-up at Ithemba, Viaduc des Arts

Our pop-up will be at ITHEMBA – PARIS Showroom au Viaduc des Arts, Paris 12, until the first quarter of 2025, alongside a curated selection of brands from around the world.

The Ithemba sign: Design, Handmade, Ethic

The Viaduc des Arts is a 19th-century railway viaduct along avenue Daumesnil in Paris's 12th arrondissement. Its stone arches are now workshops and showrooms for craftspeople, with the Promenade Plantée garden walk running along the top. Ithemba means "hope" in Xhosa. It began in South Africa in 2002 as a solidarity design project, bringing together design, handmade craft and support for people in need, and it has been at home under the viaduct since 2006. Design, handmade, ethic: we couldn't ask for a better place for our weavers' work.
