Kasalan 2026: Pamana Fashion Show with Negros Weavers
· Get Spotted
Kasalan 2026, the National Wedding Tourism Expo by Kasal.com and Ayala Malls, opened at Ayala Malls Capitol Central in Bacolod City and ran October 24–25, 2026. We were proud to be part of it with Pamana, a fashion show celebrating Negrense craftsmanship.

Pamana: a heritage in every weave
Pamana: A Celebration of Negrense Craftsmanship took the stage at the Activity Center on October 24 at 2:30 PM. It featured textiles made by the Negros Nine Weavers of Kabankalan in collaboration with Get Spotted, presented with CHICKS. The show was directed by Conceptu Bacolod Event Specialist, with makeup by Makeup by Berta.

"Let's keep saying 'I do' to Negros"
Representative Mercedes "Cheding" K. Alvarez spoke at the opening about supporting the local wedding industry, including suppliers from CHICKS. In her own words:
"When we support this industry, we support livelihoods. Every booth is a business, and many of them are small, homegrown, and proudly made in Negros. When couples choose local, they get more than a beautiful celebration. They help families earn, keep our crafts alive, and grow our community."
"We also watched the Pamana Fashion Show, which featured textiles made by the Negros 9 Weavers in collaboration with Get Spotted. Every thread carried our heritage, and every piece showed what Negrense hands can do."
"Love brings two people together. When we choose local, it can bring a whole community together too."
