Big news from Bacolod: Get Spotted is joining BÚTLAK, the 40th Negros Trade Fair, from September 22 to 27, 2026 at the SMX Convention Center Aura (3rd and 4th Levels, SM Aura Premier, 26th Street corner McKinley Parkway, Taguig).
About the Negros Trade Fair
The Negros Trade Fair began in the 1980s, when the collapse of the sugar industry pushed Negrense women and entrepreneurs to band together and bring the island's products to Manila. The first fair, in 1985, was a gathering of around 30 vendors in a Makati car park. Four decades later, it's known as the country's longest-running provincial trade fair, organized by the Association of Negros Producers (ANP), a nonprofit that helps local makers and small businesses find a market.
This year's theme, BÚTLAK, is a Hiligaynon word for the rising of the sun, or a bloom: a fitting name for 40 years of Negrense resourcefulness and hope. The 40th edition brings together around 178 brands from the Negros Island Region and Siquijor, with fashion and accessories in abaca, bamboo, rattan, hablon and piña, home décor and furniture, art, and plenty of Negrense food and delicacies.
The fair is organized by ANP with SM Supermalls through SM for MSMEs and the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental.
